Four Corner Activity Performed by Teachers during the session of Multiple intelligence
During the third day of training four Corner activity was performed by Teachers during the session of Multiple intelligence in which Divided the hall into
four corners and the printouts of Names of the corners were hung in the different corners. all the
participants were asked to stand and were asked to take out the chit.The chits contain
names of states from different parts of India.
They were asked to read the
word and identify the which part of India it is located at-North, East, West or
South.
If the state is in
West India the participant have to run to the corner .
Once they have
reached the corner, ask them to tell one point they know about the state given
in their chit.
The activity was subject oriented and it can be performed for bodily kinesthetic childern.
Teachers performing the Activity Of Reflection Cards During the session of Self esteem.
During the session Of Self esteem teachers performed the Activity on Reflection Cards. They were divided into the groups and each participant was given a reflection card on which they have to write their name and the name of participants in their group.
Оn the reflection card they must
write down at least one positive aspect about themselves and for each of the
group members in the respective cards and hand over each card to the respective
members.

Training Updates of Second Phase of SS teachers at DIET Fatehgarh Sahib
Training of Second Phase of SS teachers is scheduled from 14 -21st october. The first day of training started with morning assembly followed by sharing of thought for the day by teachers.
Sessions of setting the stage 1,2 were completed on first day. Teachers performing the bingo activity during the warm up session in the morning of first day, Followed by Down memory lane activity in Session of setting the stage-2 and discussed the contemporary needs of today's classroom by relating it to their subject. Followed by session of technology.

SOCIAL SCIENCE TEACHERS TRAINING UPDATES
Five Days Pedagogy based training
at
DIET FATEHGARH SAHIB
Five days Pedagogy teacher training seminars of S.S.T teachers are being organized by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan in collaboration with American India Foundation Trust at DIET FATEHGARH SAHIB with full co-operation of DIET Faculty members and AIF Trainers .Training is going on batchwise from 07-10-2013 to 21-10-2013.
AIF trainer Mr. Arun Kumar is conducting the trainings and delivering the
sessions on Technology and Pedagogy.
In this training rather than prescribed syllabi two current topics- Enviorment and Gender Sensitization were also discussed as provided in the training schedule by SCERT.
On the First day of training (7-10-13) the training started with morning assembly and thought for the day followed by the introduction with teachers. Sessions of Setting the stage 1,2 and Technology training were completed.
On the second day of training there was a healthy discussion on the topic- Enviorment by the S.S teachers. they discussed about various types of enviormental pollution, hazards, causes and their impact on us.
Sessions of Setting the stage 3,4 and Critical thinking 1,2,3 and creative thinking-1 were completed.
On the third day of training there was discusion on Gender Sensitization by teachers which included many aspect of gender inequality, Social issues and violences and gender discrimination.
The sessions of creative thinking 2,3 and Multiple intelligence were also completed on that day.
Sessions of Setting the stage 3,4 and Critical thinking 1,2,3 and creative thinking-1 were completed.
